The umbilical cord is attached to one person. It isn’t attached to two people, or a community of people, or a nation of people. The person it is attached to is the mother of the child, not the father. Not your representative in Congress. Not your pastor.
I had to reblog this. This is why I tag all of my posts about abortion as “women’s rights”, not as abortion. When it comes down to it, women’s rights are what we’re really talking about.
