Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert not talking about this incident does not equate to the propagation of racism against Asian-Americans. Considering the fact that this issue has sparked national headlines would indicate that people do care. Why you're choosing to single out a Comedy Central program is beyond me. If you directed it towards CNN, MSNBC, or hell, even Fox I would get. But The Daily Show? Come on.

Well, considering that The Daily Show took the time to put together a fluffy piece on the fact that Time Warner Cable wasn’t carrying Knicks games in Chinatown (a piece that was itself mildly racist at moments) and yet can’t even so much as mention ESPN’s idiocy in this, then yes I do think they could have said something.

They spend all day calling out CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News on their BS, why go easy on ESPN? Is ESPN a news outlet? Depends upon your point of view I suppose. One of the racist comments made about Jeremy Lin was on ESPN News, if that helps you out in any way.

And the reason I’m “singling out” a Comedy Central program is because I watch it often enough to form an opinion on the show. I don’t watch the other networks mentioned, so I have no idea what they’re showing. I do know that I did expect Daily Show or Colbert Report to say something about this incident, due to the nature of it. Does that mean they have to? Like I said before, far be it for me to decide what they should and should not do. I would have liked it had they said something though, and I know I’m not the only one.

Thanks for your comment, anon.
